My philosophy is simple;
I want my couples to have the best day ever.
Good photos start there.

What I bring to the table:

750+ weddings and 12+ years in.
Experience counts. There’s no situation/emergency that I haven’t seen and handled! (I’m happy to tell some stories too haha)

Instant Ally.
I fit in immediately like I’ve known you all for years, I’ll be your newest ride or die, wingman and hype squad all in one.

Every moment covered.
I provide a service that ticks all the boxes: candid moments, couple portraits, family photos, key events, and dance floor shenanigans.

Zero time-wasting.
I know how to get the gold fast - give me 15 good minutes and I’ll have you back at cocktail hour sipping spicy margs with your besties.

You can count on me.
I’m reliable, hardworking, and fully invested in you and your day - from first email to final dance floor photo.

A mate with a camera. I’m here to make sure you have a great time, like having an old friend along for the ride.

Real trust, real moments. I work to build real trust with you and your closest people so you can truly relax and enjoy your day without thinking about the camera.

Laid-back, timeless style. My editing is classic and true-to-life - so your photos won’t look like a trend from five years ago.

I read the room. I know when to step in and when to stay out of the way, when to inject energy and when to help calm things down.

Passes the vibe check. I’m an easy-going bloke with calm, fun and steady energy no matter what the day throws at us.

Steady hands, calm mind. Whatever the day throws at us - rain, timeline chaos, last-minute hiccups - I’ll handle it and keep us on track.

Everyone’s welcome here. Love is love. Full stop. I’ve had the joy of documenting weddings across cultures, traditions, sexualities and identities and I’m always here for it.

A black and white photo of a couple in wedding attire inside a bar. The man is sitting on a barstool, holding the woman's hand, and they are smiling at each other. The woman is holding a large bouquet of flowers and wearing a wedding dress, while the man is in a suit. The bar has bottles lined up on shelves behind them, with windows letting in light.

“Dan turned a part of the day we weren’t excited about (being away from our guests) into a time we will now cherish.”

The full story

I aim to give you a final gallery that will tick all the boxes for you - from all the key moments, candids in between, family photos, dance floor shenanigans and ultimately something arty to hang on your wall!

From the pre-ceremony bubbles to the final dance floor drop, every part of your wedding day is pure gold, and I’m there to photograph it all. The getting ready vibes are always a mix of nerves, laughter, and your best mates trying to figure out how to fold pocket squares. Then comes the ceremony, where tears and tissues battle it out with “I do’s” and the odd ring fumble. In between the big moments, it’s the candid stuff that really shines. Stolen glances, belly laughs, cheeky flower girls causing chaos. Come reception time, it’s speeches that roast and toast, grandma tearing up the d-floor, and your mates reliving Year 10 disco moves like their lives depend on it. Every part of the day has its magic, and I’m there to catch it all. The real, the ridiculous, and the ridiculously beautiful. Let’s capture the lot.

Getting Ready

This part of the day is a great way for me to build rapport with you and your team, it really helps you get used to having a camera around as well as capturing some real story-telling gold and a few team photos of you all looking your absolute best!

“The ultimate artist whilst always being the life of the party AND the kindest person in the room. I'm in awe of every single image Dan takes.”

-Elsa & Cam

“We’re so awkward in front of the camera.”

I hear this line from my couples all the time. In fact that’s what Rach & Nick said but look at them smiling like two seagulls in a chip shop.

Spoiler alert, you don’t need to worry about this. That’s where I come in!

Your couple portraits are not something to dread on your wedding day, it’s actually a great opportunity for you guys to have a bit of quiet time - check in with each other and just be present. I’ll obviously tag along as your professional third wheel and give you gentle prompts disguised behind tragic dad jokes - somewhere in between we’ll capture get some fab pics of you guys like these legends here.

Photos do not need to take hours either, give me 15 minutes with you both (and maybe 5 more at sunset) - we’ll get some gold to hang on your wall and have you back with your guests in no time.
